Is there something other than application display name that I can use for sccm applications in the app tree? I'm currently using Patch My PC with in-place application upgrades and the application name changes. It works great if I don't change the applications! Any tips?

No, and this isn't dictated by UI++. The Install Application task type explicitly expects the display name of the Application to install. I can think of some creative ways to possibly solution around this (like using a web service to dynamically retrieve the display names and dynamically use those in the configuration file), but without directly querying ConfigMgr, which would require permissions to do so and thus not ideal, there's not much that UI++ can do here. If you have any suggestions, I'd be happy to entertain them though.
