Hi there, I feel really stupid to ask this, but here we go. I want to pass custom variables from UI++ (put as a prestart command) to the task sequence. The pass xml part is as follows <Action Type="TSVar" Name="OSDComputerName">%MachineName%</Action> <Action Type="TSVar" Name="Model">%Model%</Action> <Action Type="TSVar" Name="LocalAdmin">%XAuthenticatedUser%</Action> When I use CTRL+F2 these (before pass)variables are looking good but the condition during the task sequence is just ignored (i'm pretty sure i'm missing somewthing obvious here) Task Sequence as follows imgur.com/a/cD77Mplany ideas? Cheers!

There's nothing to do here as the task sequence variable engine preserves variables between the pre-start command and the execution of the TS.
Have you paused the TS and examined the variables?
Have you reviewed smsts.log for the condition evaluation?
Also, note that your second TSVar action above does nothing as it assigns the value of a variable to itself.

As I said, seems like i'm stupid and missed something obvious... Haven't set the condition to even jump into the folder... Maybe i need some time off Running into other errors now but slowly fixing them Thanks!
