Hi everyone, i try to make UI++ works for me in sccm task sequence i have made a xml file for make some testing it's ok all launch when i click on it. So i made my package in sccm i have made my task sequence as you can see i make the second one for installing the application at the end i launch my computer on pxe launch the task sequence it's running no problem and at the and when the computer finish to boot nothing was done .... The new name i have set isn't set and the application i have pré select isn't installed i didn't inderstand what i have miss ... i gave you my xml file, maybe you can explain me what i make wrong .... thanks all ! I believe your OSDcomputername wasn't being set because you were using an existing Environment Variable which wasn't being overwritten. Use a unique variable.
I took your code and changed:
From: <TextInput Variable="ComputerName" To: <TextInput Variable="zzComputerName"
And updated: From: <Action Type="TSVar" Name="OSDComputerName">"%ComputerName%"</Action> To: <Action Type="TSVar" Name="OSDComputerName">"%zzComputerName%"</Action>
Now the log shows the correct computername being sent to TSVar:
