Basically I have a dropdown box with a half dozen build templates for various win10 machines.
What i would like to do is put a textbox at the bottom and unless you enter a password you can't see all of the options.
Ie some options are test/dev builds that only a few people can use.
Any ideas on how to do this easily?

I have something similar. I have a condition set on a few build options to look for a certain string in the computer description the tech entered.
Kind of like this:
<Choice Option="Secret Hidden Option" Value="HiddenValue" Condition='InStr(1,"%ADComputerDescription%","SecretOptionPassword",1) > 0'/>

Well, this wouldn't be secure necessarily, but you could start with one Input action that prompts for the password. Then, a second Input action would should your drop-down but the values in the drop-down are conditionally adding based on the password in the previous Input action being entered correctly or not.
To make this more secure, I would base this on the user being a member of a security group though so that no secrets are stored in the XML.
