Hi there,
is there any possibility to check if a preflight variable exist? My scenario
1. Preflight check runs 2. If variable XHWVirtualMachineType exists there should be an error message for the user (can i remove the green "continue arrow"? and just display the cancel?) 3. otherwise continue as normal
the reason is, that no user should be able to install the image on a VM
It should look like this, right?
<Action Type="Info" Condition='"%XHWVirtualMachineType%" = "?"' (Maybe exist?) Name="VM" Title="Important Information" ShowCancel="True" /> <![CDATA[Hello, you receive this message because it is not allowed to install this image on a virtual machine. Please create a Ticket for further instructions ]]> </Action>
EDIT: Formatting

You can change your condition to
"%XHWVirtualMachineType%" <> ""
Also, if you don't want the process to continue at all, you should use an ErrorInfo action instead of an Info action.
