Hi Jason! First of all, thank you so much for this useful piece of software.
We are having some machines not being able to start the Task Sequence. The log shows that the preflight check fails in our "wired connection" test, despite being wired through Ethernet:
Evaluating Condition for <CheckCondition> Wired connection: "%XWiredLANConnected%" = "True" AND "%XWLANDisconnected%" = "True" ?? "" = "True" AND "True" = "True"
The relevant configuration XML is this one:
<Check Text="Wired connection" CheckCondition='"%XWiredLANConnected%" = "True" AND "%XWLANDisconnected%" = "True"' /
FTR, these are some machines in Japan with Intel Ethernet adapters (i.e. I219-V and I218-LM). We've tried setting the name of the adapter from "イーサネット" to "Ethernet Connection" or something like that, but it didn't work. Also updating or downgrading drivers, no success.
Anything else we should be looking for?
Thanks!

Well, I was using UI++ 2.11.0.3. I had no such issues with 2.11.1.1.
Once again thank you for your work!

Why not just using it as prestart command? Had the same issue but prestart fixed it, and now i'm good to go.

The XWiredLanConnection variable is set based on two WMI queries:
1. SELECT Name FROM Win32_NetworkAdapter WHERE NetConnectionStatus=2 And NetEnabled='True' And AdapterType='Ethernet 802.3' And PhysicalAdapter='True'
2. SELECT InstanceName FROM MSNdis_PhysicalMediumType WHERE InstanceName='%s' And NDisPhysicalMediumType=0
where %s in the second query is the value of Name from the first query, the second query is run multiple times if the first query returns multiple values, and if any of them return a non-blank value for InstanceName, then XWiredLanCOnnection is set to true.
I don't see why these wouldn't work when run from ServiceUI.
