Hi all, I have been battling for a few days now on the correct way to have the ui run while still in windows. This is as soon as the available task sequence is run by the user. I have tried with serviceui.exe in the package folder I have also tried serviceui running the ui exe. Still no joy. There are many people saying run this command line or that command line in the ts but none work for me. I have mdt integration and running the latest version of ui and current branch SCCM.
Can someone please give specific instructions on how the package should be created Which files to include and How to run in the ts. I must be missing something simple. Thanks in advance

What commands have you tried?
Make sure you have the right version of ServiceUI for the architecture you're running on - my task has a step for each architecture. These are the commands I use. Provided the file names match, something similar should work for you.
ServiceUI_x64.exe -process:TSProgressUI.exe UI++x64.exe /config:http://server.fqdn/folder/config.xml ServiceUI_x86.exe -process:TSProgressUI.exe UI++x86.exe /config:http://server.fqdn/folder/config.xml

HI, I tried this from a run command ServiceUI_x64.exe -process:TSProgressUI.exe UI++x64.exe /config:UI.xml tick the box and select a package. I have not tried from a webserver, I presumed that you could run from a command line

What does the UI++ log file say? Don't worry about the http part, that just happens to be where I'm hosting the config

Failed to execute command line 'UI++x64.exe /config:http://mydomainname/UI/ui.xml' . The system cannot find the file specified. (Error: 80070002; Source: Windows) this is from the smsts on the client

What does the step in your task sequence look like? It should be a 'Run Command Line' step with the package containing UI++ files selected
