Hi
Just started using the UI++ tool as I hope to dispense with the older HTA methods for LTI and so far very impressed. A very easy to use XML config.
Does the TSVar action type and condition attributes support VB expressions such as RegEx or Instr? I can't seem to search for wildcard values within the variable values. As the chassistype is not a reliable means of determining a tablet device, an example would be to set a variable value "T" (as in tablet) for tablets if their XHWModel contains "Surface" or "Yoga" etc. I've tried Regex and instr. The like operator is not working but this could be a syntax error
<Action Type="TSVar" Name="CustHWType" Condition='"%XHWChassisType%" = "Laptop"'>"L"</Action> <Action Type="TSVar" Name="ZZHWType" Condition='("%XHWModel%" like "20F5S")'>"T"</Action>

There is no "Like" operator in VBScript or in regular expressions; "like" is a SQL (and WQL) operator.
You can absolutely use InStr as that is a valid VBScript function. You can use **any** valid VBScript expression as the entire value of a Condition attribute is sent to VBScript for processing.
