Just noticed a possible bug with the TextInput element. If I add a PROMPT or HINT attribute, the text for either one doesn't appear to show up.

FYI this bug happened in version 2.11.0.3 but was also in 2.10.2.0 which I was using previously.

But if you add both, it does show up, correct?

No, I just tried them both at the same time and neither showed up. Also, if the "Required" attribute is set to "True" the red exclamation triangle and red outline show up but nothing happens when you put your mouse over the triangle. Not sure if that is expected behavior or not.

I have an update on this. Turns out I was using PROMPT and HINT instead of Prompt and Hint. I didn't realize the attributes were case sensitive. So now I can get the hint to show up but only if the prompt is already there. The PDF descriptions on these attributes are a little misleading. For one thing, it doesn't say the prompt is required to show the hint. Also, the description for the prompt is "The prompt text to display within the text box when it is empty." I was expecting it to show as some faded grayish letters within the text box that goes away when you start typing, but it actually shows below the text box in a tooltip bubble with an arrow pointing to the text box. The hint shows up in that same bubble.

XML is almost always case sensitive.
As for the Prompt and Hint not showing unless both are specified, that's an issue I just stumbled on myself which is why I was asking the question above.
