Hi folks
First time poster. Trying to re-engineer an OSD frontend solution that currently exists in our environment and thought of using UI++ to drive it a bit.
Currently, one of the first steps an OSD imaging operator needs to do is "prestage" the computer before it gets imaged. This involves entering data via a web page that then updates AD, MDT and SCCM with data before "allowing" the machine to be imaged.
So, for example, one of the pages they'd currently use has information about where in AD the machine is going to reside. The way it currently facilitates this is, there are a number of drop-down lists, where the whatever choice is made in the first drop-down then filters the choices in the next list, etc, etc
COMPANY Drop-down list here
DIVISION Drop-down list here
SITE Drop-down list here
So, when the Build tech chooses the correct Company this then limits the DIVISION Section to whatever divisions are assigned to that Company choice, etc. Then when all choices are made, they can click on a "Display OU's" button which shows the filtered OU's. Is this possible in UI++? To be honest, if it needs to be hard-coded, i'm not sure it would suit what i'm after, i was more hoping that it would actually query AD directly based on the filter choices.
I hope that makes some sense. Appreciate your feedback.

My recollection of this is a bit fuzzy, but I had considered something similar at one point. What you're describing is like a dependent drop-down list, and from the last time I tried it my understanding was it currently isn't possible in UI++ as the conditions you would use to populate the drop downs after COMPANY and DIVISION aren't evaluated until moving to the next page.
