Without wanting to get too 'Inception', would it be possible to add a way to hook into a different config file from within a config file?
I'd like to do this as we host our config on an IIS server to allow us to more easily make changes without updating the boot image, but this (of course) relies on a network connection. Obviously, so does OSD, but we often get calls from techs wondering why OSD isn't working, only for it to turn out to be a network issue.
When UI++ runs within a TS, any network issue would cause a failure before UI++ was invoked, but when running as a prestart command from USB Media, it's the first thing that runs.
I'd like to instead have a local config in the boot image which did a simple network test of some kind and THEN reached out to the server for the full config if network connection was present, otherwise presenting an error (maybe with the preflight module) if no network connection was found.
